48 Hours at Streamsong Resort

Want to spend the most relaxing weekend of your life in Florida? Then plan a trip to Streamsong Resort!

My relaxing stay at Streamsong Resort in Florida

In late February I was invited by Streamsong Resort to spend the weekend and participate in the Streamsong Scramble. I’ll be honest, going into the trip I had absolutely NO idea what to expect! I hadn’t heard of Streamsong before (not sure how I missed the memo!!) so I had zero preconceived notions. What I would come to learn is that this hidden gem of a resort is truly and oasis in the middle of central Florida – I already want to head back! I can’t believe this gorgeous getaway is only and hour and a half from me- it’s tucked away in a secluded spot of Florida so you truly feel like you are a world away.

If you know of this fabulous getaway spot, then you may know that Streamsong is (by trade) a luxury golf resort & is ranked one of the top 100 golf courses in America. They have three amazing courses (Red, Blue, & Black) that are simply beautiful (and I’m sure amazing, but this girl is no golfer!) 🙂 But y’all- this is so much more than simply a golf resort… think decadent food, a luxurious spa, and all the amenities you could want! Keep reading to see what I mean…

This is what happens when two bloggers go away for ONE night! I had to laugh at how much we packed!

The sweetest welcome: the team set us up “adult” root beers & the yummiest chocolate, bacon, & cheese snacks.

The “Streamsong Scramble” was a 12 course dinner which allowed us to sample from each of the amazing restaurants on site & get a feel for what each one had to offer. We kicked off the evening with cocktails to go (you know I loved that!)

Our first course actually took place on the top of the first hole and we got to experience one of the most stunning sunsets I’ve ever seen! Our chef made our dish on site & taught us all about the various ingredients and his inspirations.

There were so many amazing dishes we were able to try, and at the risk of saying “it was SO good” about 50 times, I’m just going to share all these pictures. Each time I ate a dish I kept saying that nothing could be better, but then the next dish came…

The habanero Bloody Mary below was life-changing to say the least 😉

That is a one lb meatball y’all! And I could have event the entire thing it was that great!

We do need to talk about dessert- because we all know that’s always my favorite course! These cherry mini pies were melt-in-your-mouth good – and I don’t even like fruit pies! But I could have eaten 27 of them! And then there were s’mores bars that literally were chocolate brownies bathed in melted chocolate and then torched with marshmallow (are you hungry yet?)

After eating my body weight in chocolate & steak the night before, a visit to the spa was just what I needed! I had the most rejuvenating deep tissue massage and it left me wondering why I don’t do this more often!

We also took some time to do a little sight-seeing around the property- so much beauty to take in!

This is the pool area that sits directly on the water- and there’s a poolside bar to keep you hydrated!

One final yummy meal before heading home 🙂

Loved getting to relax and have a fun girl’s weekend with Sarah Hunt!

Who wants to come visit this relaxing oasis? I cannot wait to go back – the weekend was truly one of a kind and I’m so thankful for these special moments and memories! In the midst of a crazy busy season of life it was so nice to step back and relax!
