This is a sponsored post by Crunch Fitness but all my opinions are my own.
In the retail world, April marks the beginning of Q2 or our second quarter of the year. And just like January 1 is a chance to “start over” and goal set for the coming year, we see quarters the same way. Q2 is a chance to see what went right (and wrong) in the previous three months and to decide how to correct and refocus going forward.
Why does this matter? Because I see our personal goals much the same way. Rather than simply goal setting January 1 and leaving them be, I’m checking in with myself each quarter to see where I’m moving forward, where I’m stagnant, and where I need to reset and refocus. As I’m sure some of y’all can relate to, one of those big areas is fitness!
When I look back on January – March, I realized that I have let my fitness focus fall to the wayside as “life” got busy & got the best of me. And since I didn’t make working out a priority in 2018 – my focus just wasn’t on it! So, I’m adding it back into my scope of goals moving forward- and an important part of that goal-setting is finding a great gym. Enter, Crunch Fitness South Tampa.
As someone who isn’t “ripped” or “shredded” the gym environment can certainly be intimidating, but Crunch dispelled that fear for me! Their motto and core value is #NoJudgements and that is something you can certainly feel from the moment you walk in. I was greeted by the friendliest staff members who couldn’t wait to welcome me and get me acquainted with the gym! From state-of-the-art equipment and sparkling clean facilities, Crunch is certainly an inviting environment that made me WANT to spend time there (and isn’t that such an important feeling when your focusing on fitness? Wanting to be there isn’t an easy thing)! I was able to pop in after church on Sunday, signing up took no time at all, and then I was off trying out the machines and learning to use the weights!
While I certainly was not the strongest or fittest person in the gym (as you can see by some of the big muscles behind me!) I was so thankful that no one gave me the side-eye or the “what is she doing here” look (you know the one!)- insead I was greeted with friendly smiles and a few offers to help me figure out how to use all the equipment. Besides their ample machines and convenient hours & locations, Crunch also has a full schedule of over 50 classes per week! I’ve been to gyms before that offered classes- but at totally inconvenient times for us working women- so I loved that classes start as early as 8:30am and go as late as 7:00pm. This schedule is inclusive for everyone and means even someone with my nutty schedule can enjoy a great group fitness class or two during the week!
Overall, I’m so excited that I branched out & tried Crunch Fitness. I was so impressed by my experience & feel empowered to get my fitness goals back on track this quarter. After all, summer is coming & there is no time like now for this Florida girl to prepare for bikini season! If you are in the Tampa, Sarasota, or Atlanta area, stop by or sign up for a membership for only $9.95 per month and a $1 Enrollment Fee using the code: ONE by 4/30/18.
How are you resetting and refocusing on your goals in Q2? Let’s encourage each other to be our best!
I’ve really been needing some fitness motivation, so thank you for sharing this post!
Happy Easter!
