Happy Monday! Here we are at a brand new week y’all- who’s ready to make it a great one?? 🙂
One of the questions I get the absolute MOST is how to wear color at work- is it professional? And how do you incorporate it in your office style? Now I know that I am a totally biased source on the matter (the more color the better) but I really do believe that you can seamlessly incorporate color at work AND still maintain a strong sense of professionalism.
First of all, it’s all about the shape. This dress has a loose “shift” shape that is pretty timeless & super flattering. Perfect for work! In black it would be a workweek staple, but in punchy pink it is a fun addition to your repertoire! And how sweet are those scallops? Love them!
Next, the accessories matter! Dresses like this are a blank canvas- so each time you wear it your look will be totally different! I recently got this beautiful tassel necklace from my friend Carrie and I was so excited by what a perfect match it was for my dress. The Chloe + Isabel collection is SO well made, that even though it looks like on-trend fashion jewelry you are getting a high-quality piece that would be a perfect piece for work.

I absolutely love wearing color to work and can’t imagine not doing it LOL!! I usually add a bright top or cardigan to punch up an outfit! xo, Biana-BlovedBoston
I’m normally a neutral gal but because I work with seniors I have a lot of colours in my wardrobe because they’ve referred to me as “gothic” and “depressed” when I stick to neutrals LOL. My go-to colour this year has been yellow; used to hate it, now I love it. I love a good red or pink under a blazer or cardigan though.
