Workweek Chic: Wrap Dresses

Looking for a classic piece that flatters everyone? Today’s wrap dress will have you covered!

Dress: Old Navy || Clutch: Fortuna || Nude Sandals: Steve Madden || Tassel Earrings: c/o Lisi Lerch || Apple Watch with this band (I’ve gotten TONS of questions about it!)

It feels like it has been forever since I’ve done a work wear post on the blog- which is kind of funny considering I wear work clothes 5 days a week! As you can imagine I have racked up quite a few go-to pieces for the office with all those days at my desk, so I’m definitely making more of an effort to bring y’all affordable workwear finds this year.

Wrap dresses are basically like the “sisterhood of the traveling dress”- they absolutely look great on everyone! The crossover detail elongates your décolletage – making you look taller – and the wrap/bow hits at everyone’s most flattering spot! I always thought I wasn’t “busty” enough to wear this style, but I tried it out about a year ago and now I am obsessed! And y’all, this sweet and stylish dress is under $35!! Yep, that right y’all- it’s an absolute steal!!

If you’re a teacher I think this little wrap dress with tennis shoes would be so perfect for the classroom (my go-to are Converse All-Stars) or you can dress it up with nude heels like I did for my business casual office. No one will ever know that you paid way less than $100 for this beauty! I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback lately that y’all are loving my “budget friendly” finds- so expect to see a lot more of them coming to the blog. Since I am really trying to stick to Financial Peace University and the lessons I am learning, I am on a strict budget these days so it’s a good thing you seem to be loving it too!

Tell me: do you love wrap dresses as much as I do? What’s your office environment like? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’ll be honest – I don’t really love wrap dresses on me. They just plunge too low for my tiny chest. BUT – this dress certainly looks gorgeous on you! And the style really is versatile for so many body shapes!
