Morning friends! I had the absolute BEST weekend- between hosting the “National Wear Your Lilly Day” party at the Pink Palm & a baby shower for one of my best girls- plus lots of quality time with Rob driving back and forth across the state for said events- it was such a sweet one!
When my Aunt and I met to shoot my most recent batch of blog pictures at Hyde Park Village we wound up planning it the same day as their monthly Farmer’s Market. At first I was worried because there were SO many people attending, but it became fun to peek into all the booths in between my outfits/shoots and to find hidden gems that worked with my looks as well! Everyone we met while shooting was SO nice and loved sharing their booths with us and telling us all about their businesses- each attendee was so talented! (I loved this plant booth behind me which was selling the most amazing blooming plants for just $12!). If you ever find yourself in Tampa the first Sunday of the month I would highly recommend checking out this fun event!
It has been scorching hot here in Florida (to quote my morning weather-girl) so keeping my looks simple & light-weight are basically my recipes for success. But y’all know that I still like to look pulled together pretty much all the time, so sundresses are my summertime best friend! Case-in-point: this darling turquoise, striped dress from Duffield Lane! I adore the simple stripe detail which keeps it classic & visually interesting and this fit-and-flare shape is timeless! This whole looks puts a “prep in my step” (pun intended!) with it’s preppy vibes and fun color 🙂
