Faster Way to Fat Loss: A Gift for Yourself in 2020

Hi y’all! I thought I was going to take it easy at the end of the year, but it turns out I have SO much to share that I just can’t stay away 🙂 Today’s post is on a slightly different topic than I usually share, but it’s one that I get so many questions about that I am excited to jump on and chat all about it today!

I realized that as of December, I have officially been doing FASTer Way to Fat Loss for 14 months! I have never been able to stick to any program/plan for 2 months, let alone 14! So if its something that I love and practice daily then you know it’s worth talking about! I thought I would break it down into some of the most frequently asked questions I get – but of course if there is anything else you want to know… I’m here! I’d love to chat about the program and help you get on the road to a healthier 2020!

My story with FASTer Way to Fat Loss:

I started FWTFL in October 2018 and truthfully I was VERY hesitant to start the program because I didn’t really think it could work for me! But my friend Kristen Mills became a coach for the program and after seeing her amazing results I kind of felt like there was nothing to lose (except weight!) for me to give it a shot.

Within the first 7 days of the program (yes, SEVEN days!) I saw changes! I had more energy, felt stronger and healthier, and say my waistline losing water weight quickly which helped me to drop bloat. A few weeks later, my pants started losing up, I needed a belt to keep them from gaping, and as I measured my self I had dropped inches from top to bottom! After my first round, which was 7 weeks, I had lost over 13 inches!!!! Y’all I couldn’t believe it!

As I continued on the program over the progressive months, I continued to lose weight & inches, but more importantly I felt comfortable in my skin and confident in myself! I’m in a great place with my health and FASTer Way gets all the credit!

What is FASTer Way to Fat Loss (Program Details):

carb cycling– Each day you eat a different level of carbs which is a central part of the program. Mon/Tue are low-carb days (you eat under 50 net carbs), and then Wed-Sun are Full Macro days which depending on your weight, activity, and health goals hovered between 150-200 carbs! It’s a TON and you can really enjoy so many great foods on the program without giving up the things you love.

intermittent fasting– This is a HUGE game-changer in FASTer Way: intermittent fasting! What this basically means is you only eat during an 8 hour window each day and let your body “fast” for 16 hours. This fasting period allows your body to reset and burn additional calories/fat above and beyond a traditional eating “schedule.”

macro tracking– I think macro tracking (basically like recording your calories but on a deeper level of counting carbs/fats/proteins) is what helps keep you accountable. Something about the act of siting down each day and plugging in your food makes you really think about what you are eating and if that food is going to help you get to your health goals. It’s crucial!

strategic workouts– the program also comes with suggested workouts which vary based on the day of the week it is. They are GREAT and most are under 30 minutes so they are super do-able. In full transparency, I didn’t do the specific workouts since I love my Zumba classes so much, but as I re-commit in 2020 and prep for the wedding I’m looking at them more closely to make sure I’m doing all I can to power my body in every way, every day!

Is it hard to keep up with FASTer Way to Fat Loss and still have a life?

Not at all! This was one of the things I was most hesitant about and worried that doing this program would cause me to be “that girl” who had to turn down dinners or wouldn’t be able to order anything. But thankfully- it was the total opposite! Because the FASTer Way program has different amounts of macros every day, each day there’s just a different “type” of meal you can eat but there’s never been a restaurant I’ve been to on any given day that I haven’t been able to eat at and enjoy a great meal 🙂

I will say for the first two weeks or so of the program I stayed in for most meals because I was still learning about macros and how to count them properly; but once I learned it was no problem at all to adjust while I was out and about!

    This is the most amazing program. I resisted trying it for a year. After 12 weeks, I am down 10 pounds and 11 inches. My tummy is flatter, I have tons of energy and I feel like I eat all the time. Best of all, if you have a mess up day you just jump back in the next day! I highly recommend joining the December 30th round.
