How to Find Your Signature Color

Pink Striped Ruffle Dress c/o (Also comes in navy stripe here) // Monogram Necklace // Bow Clutch // Navy Sandals

Hi friends! If you came over through the link-up- welcome, I am so glad that you are here 🙂

Today I thought it would be fun to chat about something that y’all know I love… color!! Over the years I’ve definitely come to find exactly what my signature colors are- and you guessed it, pink is at the top of the list! But when I was younger, that definitely wasn’t always the case and I was under the impression that black was every woman’s signature color! While it certainly is a classic, did you know that certain colors truly do look best on certain skin tones & skin colors? Based on whether you have red, olive, or yellow undertones a color that looks good on me could look completely different on you! Kind of crazy cool right?!

So how did I figure out my signature colors? A whole lot of trying on!! One day I realized that there were photos of me that I liked more than others or felt like I really shined in, my poses were pretty standard in HS and college so I realized that it wasn’t me that was different, it was the colors I was wearing! Once I was aware that I was gravitating towards certain colors, I started being more conscious of looking for those colors in stores and online. Over time it became pretty darn clear- Pink was it for me! ? but I have girlfriends who swear by black, navy, olive … you name it! And as I always remind my self, the best color for you is the one you feel most confident in!

Do you have a signature color? If so, tell me what it is in the comments below!!

You look great in pink and that is such a cute dress! Blue is definitely my colour – although I’m trying to wear more colours in my wardrobe I always fall back to that one! 🙂

I love that pink striped dress, the ruffle detail is so pretty! Reading your post makes me realize that I don’t really have a signature color for clothes, but I also love the way I feel when I wear pink and need more of it in my closet!

Love this! I’ll be the first to admit that I’m SCARED of color. My wardrobe is all about black and grey with some fun pops of color in accessories. Thanks for these tips 🙂

  6. I would say pink or blue is my signature color even though purple is my favorite color!
