Hi friends! It’s been far too long since we’ve gotten a chance to just hang out, catch up, and chat like girlfriends do! Life is moving at about 100 mph these days and there are sooooo many moving parts, so I wanted to fill y’all in and share some updates with you! (I’d also love to hear what you’re up too- leave a note in the comments!)
WORKING FROM HOME:
So my company was fully set to go back to the office (on a hybrid schedule) in September, but due to the Delta variant and rising case numbers our return has been pushed to January. And honestly, I have a lot of mixed feelings about it! It has been such a gift to be able to work from home and get all that extra time w/ Eliza (my mom watches her full time but I sneak in lots of snuggles between meetings :)) but I am also an extrovert and enneagram 7, so I thrive on being around people and I really miss my team! There’s such a great environment in our office and I was really looking forward to having some “adult” time a few days a week!
MOTHERHOOD/ ELIZA:
Our sweet baby Eliza turns 6 months old in 2 weeks- how in the world is that even possible?! She is truly the best! Her personality is just blossoming these days and she is spunky, sassy, sweet and a goofball- totally taking after mom and dad! She fills ours days with so much love & laughter and I’m amazed at how quickly she is growing and changing! Trying to soak it all in!
OUR NEW HOUSE:
Yep, we moved !! We officially have been in our forever home for almost 2 weeks and we just couldn’t be happier! It’s been a bit stressful unpacking with a busy 5 month old, but things are starting to come together, and then it’s on to the fun job of decorating! I am pulling all the design inspo I can find, and hoping to do a better job of documenting the process of turning the house into a home 🙂 any recommendations for contemporary traditional design accounts I’m all ears!
