Happy Hour 1.14.22
A new year and a new attempt at keeping up with Happy Hours! If you’re new here, I started these to be bi-weekly series where I share what I’m loving across all sorts of different categories! It’s a compilation of all the things making me happy, and what we would chat about if we were grabbing cocktails and saying “cheers” in person!
Ready for some fun?
ONE // Loft New Arrivals I Love!
Loft has had a couple of rough seasons for me, but their newest arrivals are so stinking cute they might be making a fan out of my again! The pink! The prints! There is just so much to love… and it’s all kind of making me wish I was back in the office again! (While also adding a cute set to WFH in!!)
Pink Ruffled Top // Pink Dress // Heart Sweatshirt // Heart Sweatpants // Printed Dress
TWO // Our New Hampers
I’m well aware this might be very niche content, but Rob and I are slowly tackling our master bedroom in the new house, and we desperately need to upgrade our hampers! I think these are so pretty, plus they are on wheels so we can wheel them right on over to our laundry room! Cute & functional!
THREE // First Book of the Year!
One of my loose resolutions for 2022 is to read more (pretty sure I read maybe one book in 2021!) because I do love it a lot! Well I’ve already got one under my belt this year so we are off to a good start!
I love love love anything and everything by Emily Giffin! I tore through her newest book and every page kept me turning and wanting more! I will say, the ending fell a little flat for me (it felt like a stretch/tied up too neatly for the situation) but overall I’d give this 4/5 stars! If you’ve read it what did you think?!
FOUR // And second book of the year!
Ok definitely doing better reading this year! I also tore through In Five Years this week and OH. MY. GOSH. This book was everything and nothing like I expected it to be. Incredibly written, sucks you in, leaves you guessing…. it’s so good. I never expected the ending (in the best way)! 5/5 stars and highly recommend!
FIVE // My New Planner
With my new job I desperately need a New organization system- my old one just isn’t cutting it! I thought if I could get a planner that let me keep a to-do list and prioritize my top priorities each day it would be ideal. I’ve had a Day Designer on my radar for awhile, but they are $$ so I was thrilled Target had one I could try for under $30. Once I’ve used it for a bit, I’ll do an in-depth post on how I organize with it!
Thanks for stopping by y’all! || Gentry0
