When Fashion Makes You Happy

One of the things I’ve always believed about fashion is that first and foremost it should make the wearer HAPPY! There are so many things in life that try to steal our joy- getting dressed should not be one of them 🙂 So I’m a big believer that when I find purchases that make me happy- then they are necessary, right?!

Case in point- this fabulous frock! The second I saw it, it was a “wow that dress makes me happy” moment! I wasn’t yet sure where I could/would wear it (I’d venture to say it’s not my most practical purchase to date!) but I loved it so! I am happy to report that I wore it to a cocktail rehearsal dinner not long ago and it was perfect for the occasion! And I felt happy and comfortable all night in it (even dancing at Johnny’s Hideaway at midnight!) ha.

So ladies, moral of the story, buy. the. dang. dress. if it brings you JOY! 🙂
