A Girly Afternoon at B.A.E. Beauty Bar

After being go, go, go for the past few weeks (heck the past few years!!) I found myself running on empty recently and feeling all kinds of drained. So when B.A.E Beauty Bar (here in St. Petersburg) reached out to invite me in for an afternoon of pampering & to get my hair and makeup done, I couldn’t say yes fast enough- it was just what I needed! I am sure I’m not the only woman who doesn’t really make time for herself; So carving out an afternoon for some girly fun was an offer I couldn’t refuse!

Friends, it’s pretty darn amazing what a blowout and some false lashes can do for a girls confidence and peace of mind! I was having so much fun chatting with all the girls and sipping rose- it was like all my worries faded away! I even asked Rob if we could have date night, because that hair and makeup needed a night on the town! ?

Originally I hadn’t planned to do a full blog post, but the day was so much fun, and B.A.E. was so cute, that I couldn’t resist sharing the day with y’all! Plus, if you’re planning a trip to the beach or the area for the weekend, this would be the perfect spot to add on your list if you need some pampering!

Are you ready for the ultimate before and after?! I love seeing this kind of stuff! First you get a luxurious hair wash and then…. voila! The ultimate blowout! I asked for a fun braid to be added to mine (since I don’t know how to braid my own hair! Ha) and I loved the messy/piecey look it added!

Can you say “best afternoon ever?!” I had so much fun and can’t thank the ladies at B.A.E. Beauty Bar enough for treating me to the pampering! My hair (and mental health!) thanks you! 🙂
