Best Sneakers to Wear With Dresses

Hi friends and Happy Wednesday! Are you having so much fun shopping all the great sales this week? I feel like my head is spinning from trying to keep track of them all… but that’s the best kind of reason to have a spinning head, right?! 🙂

I recently put up a question box on IG and asked what y’all are shopping for- one of the questions was “what are the best sneakers to wear with dresses?” Since this is a trend I love SO much (and you see a ton around here!) I thought it would be the most helpful to put together a full blog post with some of my favorite sneakers and how I’ve styled them with dresses! 

GOLDEN GOOSE SUPERSTAR:

I resisted getting a pair of Golden Goose for a longgggg time, but they’ve always been on my wishlist- I just wasn’t able to justify the price tag! However, after buying a lot of pairs of “dupe” or “like styled” shoes, it really made more sense to just buy the real thing! Rob surprised me with these for Mother’s Day and I’ve already gotten so much wear out of them! Since they come pre-scuffed I also don’t worry as much about them when I’m running after Eliza or when I get caught in a torrential downpour (yep that happened the first time I wore them!)

So far absolutely no complaints here, they are comfortable once you get the hang of tying the laces (LOL, I’m clearly a grandma!) and easy to break in. Well worth the investment in my opinion! And boy oh boy do they look cute with dresses! 🙂

NIKE BLAZER LOW (Custom):

We are a big Nike family, so when I first chatted with Rob about wanting some cute sneakers it was the first place we looked! What I loved about these shoes is that through “You by Nike” you can actually customize them! I picked the swoosh color, the back tab color and I even got them monogrammed on the back!! I absolutely love these shoes so much! I’ve taken them to Atlanta market with me (where you literally walk miles) and they are comfortable, cute, and eye-catching!! If you aren’t ready or don’t want to invest in Golden Goose these are a fantastic option for you!

These were the very first tennis shoes I got when I wanted to test out the sneaker w/ dress trend without investing too heavily! I believe these sneakers are under $50?? A great price if you just want to try it out and see if it is for you! The Adidas Grand Court Sneaker is a classic for a reason- pretty sure I also had a pair in middle school and loved them just as much 🙂 The nice thing here is you aren’t sacrificing comfort for a lower price- I’ve worn these everywhere and they hold up 100% in the comfort factor!
