Dressing Room Diaries

Happy Monday! This weekend I went shopping at the mall for the first time in 2 years- like actually shopping, try on, etc. It was so nice to have time to browse and try-on, it was kind of heavenly to have a few hours of “me time” with my shopping partner in crime (my aunt!). We had such a fun girl’s day!

While I brought home lots of new goodies, I thought it would also be helpful to share what I found with y’all in case your looking for something special or new too!

Before we dive in, here are my current stats: I’m 5’4, between a size small and medium (6 in pants) and curvy on the bottom half!

LILLY PULITZER

Lilly Pulitzer Geanna Dress (size small)- This dress is a new staple in the Lilly collection and it’s easy to see why- it’s easy, swingy, soft, and perfect for every day.

Lilly Pulitzer Loran Dress (Size small)- I recently picked up this dress in the blue floral print with a birthday coupon, and when they came out with this vibrant pink and tiger print I was smitten! This is another great swing shape with a bit of a sassier v-neck! The one note I will make is that the arms are tight- so if this is a problem area for you I would size up.

Lilly Pulitzer Lorina Dress (Size Small)- I fell in love with the vibrant green lions on this dress and the fact that I got Eliza a matching shift 🙂 I also own this dress in another print so I know it’s a winner and something I wear often! I think it runs a bit on the big side, so if you are between sizes you could size down!

Lilly Pulitzer Chilly Lilly Seana Dress (Size Small)- This was my first time trying out the Chilly Lilly fabrication, and I have to say it was interesting 🙂 It’s not a cotton based fabric, so it’s not as soft, but it definitely does have some cooling properties! I think this print is also beautiful- very classic Lilly. The bust runs a little small, so size up if you are busty.

LOFT

Navy Eyelet Top (size small) // Crop Kick Jeans (Size 28) – I call this my “cool mom” look and it might’ve been my favorite of anything I tried on all day! This was an immediate yes! I haven’t bought jeans in about two years so it was so nice to find a pair that fit great, had great stretch, and made me feel cool 🙂

Orange Eyelet Tank (size small) // High Rise Kick Crop Jeans (size 28)- if you like the above jeans but need a more classic wash, these are it! This outfit was an immediate yes as well and the tank will be perfect for gator games this football season!

J. CREW

Mother’s Day Tee (size small) // Black Smocked Skirt (size medium)- I thought this wee was too cute! The skirt is adorable but does run a little short/Flippy so not super practical as a mom! But adorable if you’re not chasing kids!
