Hi Friends! Today were doing Five on Friday on a Saturday- and if that isn’t just a glimpse of how my week has been (really the past few weeks) then I don’t know what is! I continue to love my new role in skincare, but it is the busiest I’ve ever been in my professional career and incredibly demanding both during the work day and even requiring a lot of nights and weekends. Not matter how hard I work I just cant ever seem to “catch up” ! Is anyone else feeling that way? I’m sure a long holiday weekend didn’t help- but boy was it wonderful to getaway with Rob in NYC! 🙂
Something I’m really excited about however is installing my new walking desk this week! Since I spend 8+ hours just sitting in front of my work from home desk, I am in desperate need of more movement in my day! I try to take a mental health break for 15 min or so to get out and walk in the sun, but most days it is actually impossible because if I have 15 minutes to spare I need to be answering emails or working on projects. I started seeing a lot of “buzz” around walking desks and after doing a lot of research, I decided it was overall a low-cost investment vs. the potential health benefits and pulled the trigger! I will be first impressions as I go this week, so be sure to tune into my IG stories to get the full scoop!
