I love fashion that tells a story, that gives you more than meets the eye, and this J. Marie “Dolly” boot print dress and I are a match made! At first glance, this is a bright, printed “nap” style dress – but upon closer look you can see that the print is what we call in fashion a “no print, print” and is actually made up of a repeating pattern of cowboy boots – so fun! I might not be from Texas but as a southern girl I have an affinity for cowboy boots and Dolly Parton- so I love the story this tells!!
Prior to my recent change of offices at work, I was attending Atlanta market 2-3x a year and one of the highlights of my time there was stopping by to see what was new from J. Marie as well as chatting with the girls (they are the kindest!!!) I remember when I saw this dress at market I was instantly smitten and bookmarked it mentally and basically stalked their site until it came out! I loved it from the first time I saw it and I’m sooo happy it’s now part of my colorful closet! It’s truly a conversation starter!
