Merry Christmas from The Blackwoods!

Hi sweet friends! It’s Christmas week and with only a few days left until the big day, I wanted to wish each and every one of y’all the merriest Christmas from me and my family to you! 2021 has been such a wonderful year for our family, we welcomed Eliza & became a threesome, navigated parenthood, motherhood, newborn life and learned so much through every experience. I’m not the same woman I was at the beginning of the year, and that’s such a beautiful thing 🙂

I am so appreciate and thankful to y’all for continuing to hang out with me here as I navigated what the new normal looked like for me (and truthfully I’m still figuring it out!). But this blog continues to be such a special space, my creative outlet, and I love getting to share my life with each of you!

I’m taking the rest of this week to really soak in the magic of this season with our little love! Some days I am truly overwhelmed by the fact that all these years I prayed for exactly what I have now. Rob, Eliza, our little family- they are the answer to years of prayers and I’m so so thankful. I cannot wait to celebrate this special season with my family!

We took our Christmas pictures a few weeks ago and I love how they turned out! Jessie Roffer nailed it again by capturing our family perfectly- especially Eliza’s hilarious expressions!

Finally, I want to take a minute and share the true meaning of Christmas, the hope of the season, and the reason I have so much joy in celebrating! This weekend we will celebrate the birth of Jesus, and the hope that he brought the entire world! I pray that as you celebrate with family and friends this weekend the hope of Jesus will remind you that we have so very much to be thankful for.
