With a new month already starting, I wanted to take a few minutes and reflect on my October goals as well as set my new November goals. I really enjoyed sharing them here last month and I do feel like it kept me accountable to accomplishing them. So taday I’m sharing my November goals with y’all!

Health/Fitness:
- 3 Peloton Bike Rides/ Week
- 5 Peloton strength classes in the month
Blogging:
- One blog post per week
- Post a minimum of three stories/day.
- Talk on stories daily (focus on everyday life!)
Personal/Family:
- Daily prayer for a big dream!
- Host Thanksgiving for our families.
- Friends-giving with our bible study.

Update on my October goals:
Health/Fitness:
- Hit 10K steps/day for the month of October- 26/31 days for the month. I quickly learned that hitting this goal and biking for 50 miles were hard to do concurrently! There were many nights I still had 2k steps to go (the amount of steps I could get in while working was dependent on how many meetings I had) so I needed to use my night workout time to try and hit my step goal. I learned I really need to plan out getting my steps in and try and get lots in early in the day bc my afternoons are quite unpredictable !
- Peloton: Bike 50 miles- not complete (see notes above)
- Peloton: Complete Strength Challenge for the month (5 class minimum)- not complete (see notes above)
Blogging:
- Watch Money Moves masterclass from Allie Reeves- completed! Such a great course!
- Post 1 reel/day for 1 week (7 days in a row)- I ended up posting 7 reels in 8 days, so just shy of my goal. However I learned a lot about planning out content & time management and I consider this a win 🙂
- Post on the blog 1x/week minimum for the month of October- 4 posts in the month! Woo hoo!
Personal/Family:
- Read Ch. 1-3 of our couples bible study book- done! We are loving our study and the fellowship with our friends!
- Take Eliza to the pumpkin patch for family photos- done! A busy but super fun time!
- Daily prayer for a big dream! – check and check!

Key Learnings from my October Goals:
You know what I think I really was reminded of this month? That I can’t “do it all” and that’s ok! In order to hit 10K steps/day, I usually needed to give up my Peloton ride at night to take a walk to get steps in. I could do one thing, but not both things. But doing one thing is GREAT and a step towards my larger goal of being healthy and making good decisions for my body. As we head into the busiest season of the year, I want to focus on and remember that I don’t have to do it all, each step is one closer to where I want to be. Maybe this is a reminder that you need as well! 🙂
