Step into the Target dressing rooms with me for a HUGE Target Spring Try-On session!

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 times- Target fashion comes alive in the spring and summer (sorry winter… you’re a snooze fest!) Over the past two weeks I’ve been popping into Target more and more to “just see what they have” and have found some of the absolute CUTEST items for spring that have me so excited to get dressed again! Somehow all these little trips have turned into a HUGE Target Spring try-on haul… and now we get to have some fun together!
One thing I’m working on in my closet, and the Target spring collection really supports, is mixing and matching pieces for many looks with the same few pieces. I feel like sometimes that can be a challenge when you are a color lover like me, but Target is making it work this season and I’m so excited to share several of my mix-and-match ideas with you below!

Pink and Red Striped Cardigan (size M, could have sized down to a S) // Pink Tulle Skirt (Size M)
This outfit also comes in a black and white option if you’re more of a neutral lover, the tulle skirt is white with black polka dots and is darling + looks so cute print mixing with the B&W striped cardigan!

Coral Puff Sleeve Tee (size S) // Pink Tulle Skirt (Size M)
If you love the tulle skirt but don’t know how to wear it more casually- why not just add an elevated, but easy tee?? This puff sleeve shirt is 100% my style! It’s soft and comfortable, but the sleeves elevate it and make it so easy to mix and match with many different pieces in your closet. Perfect for casual wear or to “zush” up a bit and make more appropriate for work/church/etc.

Coral Puff Sleeve Tee (size S) // Pink Striped Linen Shorts (size M)
Here is the same tee from the previous style done extra casually with shorts- and I love it! This is my ideal spring mom uniform and is perfect for running around and doing all the things!
Note on the shorts: with my curvy hips its soooo hard for me to find shorts that fit, but these have a fantastic fit and I like the slightly longer length for full coverage. The linen shorts from last season were wider, and I was always afraid my booty was going to fall out, so I like this updated & slimmer fit which still has plenty of room for movement but also keeps you covered. 10/10! These come in tons of colors and I may or may not have several on order to me 🙂 (Shhhh!)

Pink Striped Linen Top (size S) // Pink Striped Linen Shorts (size M)
Now, take those adorable shorts and add a matching button up… I’m head over heels for this matching set- you look chic without even trying! Another look that is perfect for mom life and weekends full of running around when you want to be comfortable but pulled together!

Green Short Sleeve Boiler Suit (Size 8)
I love a good one piece outfit- it takes all the thinking out of getting dressed! This boiler suit is so on trend for the season and has an easy, but still flattering fit. Note: the legs are a little long (I’m 5’4) but were easy to roll and seemed to stay up well while I was trying them on.

Blue Striped Maxi Dress (size S, runs large)
I’d seen a bunch of other influencers try this dress on so I was excited to check it out for myself! It really is a pretty special piece and I loved it! The ties are adjustable which is good because the dress itself runs generous! A good note though is that the ties only cinch in the front, the back of the dress lays like a classic shirtdress (if that makes sense) so it’s this really chic “caftan” look from the back and more of an easy dress from the front.
Note: I’m in a small and could have sized down so if between sizes order your smaller size.

R: Pink Shrunken V-Neck Tee (size M) // Blue Linen Shorts (size M) || L: Lime Puff Sleeve Tee (size S) // Blue Linen Shorts (size M)
I tried on another color in these shorts and they are just as good, and then had fun w/ two different tees to pair with them! The pink tee is a little more cropped so I sized up- it’s a super casual look but perfect for running around on the weekends. The puff sleeve tee once again is darling and the lime green is a trending color for spring and I loved it! punchy and fun!

Coral Shirtdress (size S, needed M)
Every time I start to forget about my hips… there are certain dresses that remind me they are still there. LOL. I loved the vibrant color of this dress + the oversize shirtdress look, but while the top is oversize the hip area runs slim so I needed to size up to the M which my store was out of. I did love there versatility of this dress and could see myself wearing it to WFH, for the children’s museum on the weekends, and as a chic vacation look!

I dont mean to be a tease with these three pieces, but I wanted to share them because I tried them on 2+ weeks ago and they STILL are not online! My target often gets inventory that never makes it online so if you like any of these I would definitely check out your local store and see if they are there! I’m wearing a S in the first 2 and a M in the 3rd (but needed a S).
Whew- thanks for sticking with me and I hope you found a new piece or two for your spring wardrobe!
