When we started working on our baby registry, the two “things” I was most excited about were the stroller and the diaper bag. I’ve always loved my bags, so the idea of having a special bag just for all my baby needs & necessities made me SO excited! My original diaper bag was great, but it was the definition of function over fashion, and while it worked well for our needs, I really was dying for a bag that felt more like “me” (since I’m the one carrying it 99% of the time)!

Enter: Austin | Fowler! This Minnesota-based mama designed & founded beaded was created with the idea that a woman’s bag can be beautiful and functions (amen!) While most of her bags do have features to make them baby-friendly, you don’t have to be a mama to carry these bags and I think you will see that they have so many functions outside of just diapers, bottle & wipe storage! The second I started looking at the Austin | Fowler site I fell in love with each thoughtful, beautiful, and efficient design.

I’ve been using our new “Brielle” diaper backpack for almost a month now, and I can tell you that it’s been as functional as it is fashionable- and I couldn’t be more obsessed! The interior pockets all wipe clean (perfect for bottle spills) and there are tons of stretchy pockets on the inside of the main compartment which I use for her portable sound machine, “poop bags”, and misc items. Her bottles go in the front pocket and there are even key ring loops, stroller straps, a back pocket for all mom’s necessities. I love this bag and think it would be such a thoughtful gift for a new mom or a deserving mom for Christmas! Carrying this bag help me to feel like “me” again!
