Over the past few months I’ve felt a big shift to move away from shopping at big box/mass retailers (for fashion) and to spend more time sharing and shopping local and/or small business boutiques. Listen, I will always love (and share) an amazing Amazon or Target find, but I wasn’t enjoying being 1 of 10,000 people sharing them and in a sense looking like everyone else. I’ve always loved truly unique funds, and as someone who’s dreamed about opening my own store since I was a teenager, I have such a heart for small businesses- especially fashion boutiques.
As my heart has been pulled towards these small businesses, my closet has seen a shift too and y’all I’m LOVING IT! The color, prints, styles, happiness- oh em gee! I don’t think I’ve ever been happier stepping into my closet and picking out my ootd!
Since this is such a passion for me now, today I’m sharing my favorite boutiques and what I love about them/what sets them apart! Keep reading for all of my favorite spots that I’m excited for you to discover!

My Favorite Boutiques to Shop:
1.Shop Style Your Senses – if you checked my bank account this is the #1 boutique that I’ve been tearing it up at! Mallory, the founder, used to blog and was one of my favorite daily reads. A few years ago she shifted from blogging into opening SSYS and the shop has exploded! They have both a website and an app, and within the app the host live sales, drop exclusives, etc! Mallory now designs her own line (SSYS the Label) which is fantastic and a majority of what I shop. The pieces and prints are so unique and she really listens to what her customers need and are looking for. I’ve yet to be disappointed by a purchase! What I love too is that SSYS shoppers are so engaged they have their own Facebook community where we share outfit ideas and prayer requests. It’s a shopping experience like no other!
2. Palmer Kate Boutique– owned and curated by two best friends, Kelsi and Megan, I always feel like I’m shopping with some of my besties on their boutique! The girls curate a fantastic assortment of both budget friendly and splurge worthy styles and do a great job of sharing fit and styling information. I love shopping with them because I really so see and feel the tangible effects of supporting a small business and two mamas dreams!
3. Shop Avara– it’s been so much fun to see Avara grow and flourish these past few years! This on trend boutique has the cutest styles with a majority of pieces under $100! They are dress girls like me, but also carry a nice selection of Risen denim and their IG is super fun to follow. I’m always checking in to see what new arrivals they have!
4. Poppy & Pink– This is one of the most thoughtfully curated boutiques I shop and I love that I’ve yet to see the styles carried here anywhere else! Kaylee, the owner, has impeccable taste and it shows! Again, most pieces are under the $150 mark (with many under $100) and I love that the styling is very modern south. One of my favorite “mom life” dresses is from here and I couldn’t love it more!
5. 828 Boutique– I’ve been shopping with Caroline and 828 boutique since they launched a few years ago, and have such a love for this shop. Caroline has the BEST taste and such a fantastic eye that I’m always drooling over her site. Price point and brands are more elevated (think Cleobella) but if you want to stand out you will absolutely love shopping here!
Your turn! Do you shop any of these boutiques? Do I need to do some new ones to my list?! Share your thoughts in the comments below 💕
