One of the things I’ve taken on for our family in an effort to improve our health and keep us from ordering out nightly is our Weekly Meal Plan. At first I really struggled with the meal planning process and was easily overwhelmed, but in the past few months I’ve really come to enjoy the time I spend crafting a week of delicious dinners for our family!
Some I’m doing this weekly I thought it would be nice to start sharing our meal plan with you for inspiration and ideas (I’m always looking for new ones!)

Pepperoni Chicken– this has been a longtime favorite in our family (and even back when I was single!) takes 5 min to throw together and is super yummy!
Chicken Fajitas– My first time making fajitas at home and we loved them!
Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole– My father in law loves this recipe, so when he comes to dinner on Wednesday nights I like to make it for him every few weeks. The whole family loves this one!
Italian Crockpot Chicken– I haven’t made this recipe in years, but pulled it out on a whim this week and was so impressed! I served it over bowtie pasta and it was almost like an Alfredo sauce? Delish!
Buffalo Chicken Sweet Potatoes– I make the buffalo chicken in the crockpot and then serve it over sweet potatoes with blue cheese crumbles- perfect recipe to end the week or for easy lunches!
Ps- if you want to know how I organize all my recipes see this post on my Recipe Box!
Thanks for stopping by y’all! || Gentry

I love meal planning too. It makes dinners run so smooth all week. We love poppyseed chicken and the buffalo chicken over sweet potatoes too. I’m going to try the pepperoni chicken, I think my little crew would love that!
Yay Amanda! You will have to let me know if you try the Pepperoni Chicken- it’s so easy but a total crowd pleaser! If you have any favorites feel free to pass them along as well 🙂
I visited your blog for preppy/girlie wristwatch recommendations, but am staying for the meal plan inspo! I started weekly meal-planning in the fall of ’23 and now its a crucial part of my families weekly flow. I’m always searching for inspo, too!
Hi Rachael! I am so glad you found the blog and love the meal planning inspo! It truly had been a game changer for our family and I’m finding I really enjoy it too! PS- I love these watch bands from Amazon for something fun and simple (and under $10!)
